Makenzie Mitchell is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern currently completing her master’s degree at Liberty University. Her educational and clinical training have equipped her with the skills to provide evidence‑based and ethical care. She works primarily with children and adolescents and is committed to creating a safe, affirming environment where young clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Makenzie uses developmentally appropriate approaches, including play therapy, art‑based techniques, and skill‑building strategies to meet each child or teen where they are. She collaborates closely with parents and caregivers, believing that growth is strengthened through supportive relationships and practical tools that extend beyond the therapy room.
