Ages 18+ Anxiety, stress, depression, intrusive thoughts and self-doubt can make it feel like your thoughts have complete control - keeping you in a cycle of second-guessing yourself or avoiding the things that are really important to you. As your therapist, I want to support you in stepping out of that cycle by moving towards a life that aligns with your values and fosters a deeper connection with yourself and those around you. 

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques but I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). In layman's terms, that means we'll untangle unhelpful thoughts, taking meaningful action, and get more comfortable with discomfort. 

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and earned my Master's in Social Work with a Concentration in Clinical Studies from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawks!). Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are from KU - so yes, my loyalty to the Jayhawks runs deep. Before stepping into private practice, I worked as a Victim Advocate at my local Sexual Trauma and Abuse Care Center and a Crisis Counselor for the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. 

When I'm not in therapist mode, you'll likely find me outside getting as much sun as possible (I firmly believe in solar-powered mood boosts), listening to a true crime podcast, reading on my kindle, traveling, spending time with loved ones, or baking something delicious. 

I value offering a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where you can grow into the most authentic and empowered version of yourself .
