Charity loves seeing people not just heal, but thrive as they move forward and make changes in their lifestyles that reflect their happier and healthier mind state. Charity believes life is about figuring out who you are, what you need, and learning how to get what you need – all while enjoying the process and maintaining that ever elusive “balance.”
Charity is passionate about working with clients within the LGBTQ+ and Black, Brown, and Asian communities. Charity specializes in Neurodivergent-Affirming Care [those with and without formal ADHD/Autism Spectrum Diagnoses], Religious Trauma, Grief & Loss, and Life Transitions. While assisting all clients as they overcome anxiety, depression, and traumatic life events. Overall, her work centers around affirming the experiences of marginalized communities, and empowering them as they heal.
Charity is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and in her practice these modalities are informed by Multicultural and Feminist Therapies. She also integrates yoga movements, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques. These techniques help Neurodivergents, and trauma survivors, make the changes they’d like to see, including living a healthier, more satisfying and self-directed life.
